An event photographer usually promises the photos in a couple of weeks. With us, a guest gets their photo the same evening, printed on paper. This is possible because the print station is right there in the event hall.
What a print station is
It is a mobile workstation where photos are processed and printed. The photographer places the shot that was just taken into a ready newspaper layout, and the printer prints a personal A4 page. The masthead, the story and the ornaments are prepared before the event, so on the night only the photo and one line change. That is why the wait is short.
From shot to print in 2–3 minutes
The guest poses for the photographer right between the tables, and the shot goes straight into the layout. While the guest goes back to the conversation or has a drink, the page is already printing. No queue builds up at the station, because the photographer goes to the guests instead of calling them to a separate corner.
What the venue needs: a table and a power socket
The station only needs a small table and an ordinary power socket nearby. We send the exact requirements (size, power and position) with the quote. That way you or the venue can agree on everything in good time, and nothing has to be improvised on the night.
Why print on site, not later
Photos that arrive after the event reach guests when the festive mood has already passed. A page printed on site becomes part of the event: guests compare headlines, take photos of their pages and carry them home. That is why the layout is prepared in advance, so the evening hours belong to the guests.
