Which service to choose
What is better for an event: a photo newspaper, an AI photo booth or an event photographer?
It depends on what your guests should take home. With the photo newspaper, our photographer takes pictures of the guests. Each guest gets an A4 page with their photo and name in the headline within 2–3 minutes. With the AI photo booth guests take their own pictures and get a retro-style print. An event photographer covers the whole event, and you get the photos in a gallery within 5–7 working days.
How is a photo newspaper different from a photo booth?
In a photo booth the guest presses the button and gets a picture. For the photo newspaper, our photographer takes pictures among the tables. The page also carries the story of your event: the couple’s history, company news or the festival programme. We compare the two in photo booth or photo newspaper.
Can we combine services at one event?
Yes. A common pairing is an event photographer plus the photo newspaper. The photographer covers the event, and guests take their page home the same evening. At weddings and annual parties you can add the AI photo booth too. The quote covers everything together.
Which is better: an AI portrait or a regular photo?
They do different jobs. A regular photo shows people as they were that evening and works for your archive and marketing. An AI portrait is entertainment that turns a guest into a 1920s, 1950s or 1980s character. The photo newspaper uses real photos, not AI images.
Photo newspaper
What is a photo newspaper?
An A4 page in newspaper style with a guest’s photo and a personal headline. We design the layout with the masthead, story and ornaments before the event. At the event our photographer takes the guest’s picture and the print station prints the page on 90 g paper.
How fast does a guest get their page?
Within 2–3 minutes of the shot. The print station stands right at the venue. The page is ready while the guest is still at the table. We explain the process in how the on-site print station works.
What changes on the page for each guest?
Usually one or two blocks: the guest’s photo and one line of text, such as a name or a headline. The rest of the layout stays the same, so all the pages together look like one edition. Headline ideas are in what goes on each guest’s front page.
Which newspaper styles can we choose?
There are four eras. The 1925 broadsheet has sepia and Art Deco, and the 1958 mid-century paper uses two colours. The 1987 tabloid has a red masthead, and 2026 is a modern magazine. Can the newspaper be in another language?
Yes. We write the text in your guests’ language: Latvian, English, Russian or another. For example, the SCHWENK Eesti client day newspaper was in Estonian.
Can we use our company logo and colours?

Does a photo newspaper work as a wedding favour?
Yes, it replaces the usual favours. Each guest takes home a page with their photo and your wedding date. The digital copy can go to family. More ideas are in what to give your wedding guests, and the wedding photo newspaper page has the details.
How do guests get a digital copy?
Every page has a QR code, so guests open the digital copy on their phone during the event. After the event we send all the photos in a private online gallery.
What size of event is the photo newspaper for?
We usually work at events with 50–150 guests. For bigger events, such as city festivals, we agree the print volume and workflow in the quote.
What does the venue need to provide?
A small table and an ordinary power socket near the guests. The exact space and power requirements come with the quote, so you can agree them with the venue in time.
RETRO AI photo booth
How does the RETRO AI photo booth work?
A guest steps up to the booth and takes their own picture. AI turns it into a retro portrait, and the booth prints it straight away. Nobody has to wait for a photographer.
Which styles does the AI create?
1920s, 1950s and 1980s looks. Samples are on the photo booth page: switch the era at the top and the main picture changes too.
Is the photo printed on the spot?
Yes. It prints right at the venue, and the guest takes it home as a souvenir.
Which events is the AI photo booth for?
Weddings, annual company parties, Christmas parties, conferences and city festivals. It suits any event where guests like to take their own pictures and compare results. Party ideas are in company Christmas party ideas.
What size is the photo booth print?
Prints are 10×15 cm. That is a standard photo size that fits a frame or the fridge door.
How fast does a guest get the photo?
About 2 minutes from the shot to the print. In that time the AI turns the photo into a retro portrait and the printer prints it.
How many photos can be printed during the event?
Up to 100 prints per hour. For a large crowd we agree the event length and number of prints in the quote.
Does the photo booth need internet?
The AI portraits need internet, and we bring our own connection. You do not need the venue’s Wi-Fi.
Can guests take a photo without AI?
Yes. The booth has a classic mode that gives a regular photo with no AI changes. Guests can choose it if they want a photo without a retro look.
Can guests get the photo digitally too?
Yes. Besides the print, guests can get the photo by QR code or e-mail and share it with friends right away.
How long does the booth take to set up?
About one hour, not counting travel. We arrive early so the booth, internet and printer are tested before the guests come.
What does the booth need at the venue?
At least 2×2 m of free space near the guests and a power socket. We bring our own internet. Other requirements come with the quote.
Event photographer
How many photos do we get?
Usually 50–80 edited photos per event hour. The number depends on the programme and the pace of the event.
When do we get the photos?
All edited photos arrive in a private online gallery within 5–7 working days.
In what format are the photos?
Full resolution for print and a web size, with no watermarks.
Can we use the photos in marketing?
Yes. You can use them on your website, on social media and in advertising.
Do you take group and team photos?
Yes. We plan group and team photos in advance and bring a mobile photo studio if needed.
Can a large event have two photographers?
Yes. We offer a second photographer for large events and conferences with parallel sessions.

Price, booking and area
How much does a photo newspaper, AI photo booth or photographer cost?
We price each event by date, venue, number of guests and length. Travel outside Riga is included in the quote, which we send within 1 working day. What affects the price is explained in how much a wedding photo newspaper costs.
How far ahead should we book?
For wedding-season Saturdays from May to September, book at least 6 months ahead. Company events can often be booked closer to the date, but the newspaper layout needs time for approval.
Do you travel outside Riga?
Yes. We work in Riga, Ogre, Jūrmala and all over Latvia, from Liepāja to Daugavpils. Travel costs are shown in the quote.
What should we include in a request?
The event type, date, venue and approximate number of guests. That is enough for a quote. Fill in the request form or write on WhatsApp to +371 2 6666 952.
How long do you keep the event photos?
6 months after the event, then we delete them, so download your gallery in time. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Do you publish photos from our event?
Only with the client’s consent. The gallery shows real newspapers from events whose organisers agreed.
